Purpose: As our membership is essential to our success, the Retention Representative will be responsible for developing and implementing retention strategies to support and sustain Access Medicare’s membership population. This individual will be a critical member of our team as they will communicate with our members post-enrollment. In addition to strong customer service skills, the Retention Representative should be competent in data analysis to assess any possible disenrollment threats.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strong retention procedures to maintain active members

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in regards to contacting and surveying members in efforts to reduce potential for disenrollments

  • Contact new members following enrollment in Access Medicare’s plan

  • Utilize data analysis skills to assess members at risk for disenrollment and perform follow-up in efforts to maintain active membership

  • Conduct telephonic surveys with disenrolled members to assess areas in which retention strategies can be improved

  • Adhere to all compliance guidelines when developing and facilitating process

  • Maintain comprehensive retention and compliance databases to produce accurate tracking data

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in the healthcare industry.

  • General understanding of the healthcare industry, ideally Medicare

  • Bilingual ability in Spanish and English

  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required.

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Experience conducting data analysis, ideally with healthcare data

  • Ability to understand and interpret detailed reports.

  • Ability to be a team player and exercise initiative in responding to member requests and concerns in a helpful and courteous manner.
